So, yesterday was Mother’s Day.
I called my mother to tell her how much I love her, but words don’t seem to do it justice.
Then I found this… That says it all!

I love May in Minnesota!
I took a walk for my lunch break. I walked along the lake, around the island and back to the office (about a mile)… I could get used to this!
“The Pretty One” is out of town for the weekend.
It is my job to make sure the kids don’t stop breathing. So far… so good.
The house has eve stayed in pretty good shape. Just a little clutter to clean up tonight.
Oh… and a follow up to my last post. We saw a tv ad for “The Blue Man Group” yesterday. One of the girls (I can’t remember if it was Thing 1 or Thing 2) said “Look… It’s the Newsboys!”.
That says a lot of the Newsboy’s stage production.
I have seen both, and I must admit that the production was quite impressive at both.
We took Thing 1 and Thing 2 to see the Newsboys last night.
It was their first REALLY BIG stage production (and one of the biggest I had ever seen too).
After the show, I was able to take the gals back to meet the band.
Here are a couple shots of them with Paul.
Well, Thing 2 turned 5 yesterday.
We are having some family over for a party tonight.
Yesterday we all went to MOA for some Rainforest Cafe (She specifically requested that so we can get the “Volcano”. a $12.99 Brownie/fudge/icecream/more fudge/topped with a sparkler desert.)
After we we sugared up, we traveled to the Build-a-bear workshop where she picked out, stuffed, cleaned and dressed a stuffed Bunny.
The video camera came along, so I am sure I will have something posted before the weekend is out.
Still playing!
Here are the gals getting ready for bed.
They all had fun… except the sick one.
I just picked up a new digital camcorder. Canon ZR800.
Here is my first video with it!
As boys, my brothers and I would sit around the dining room table and play Risk.
Although I was often beat, those are some of the fondest memories for me.
It is a bit harder for us to do that now. We have grown up and have our own families. One is in Asia, one is in Eastern Europe and I am back in the home we grew up in, in the Midwest.
Saturday, we got to relive that around the world.
I sat in the same dining room we used to play in, at 3pm on Saturday, at the same time, (10pm in Poland), my brother logged on, and my other brother (6am in Korea) joined us online.
It was a bit painful for me, since I am fairly new to C&C Generals, but it was a ton of fun to have a game night/afternoon/morning, with my brothers again.
